07-03-2026: The water is slowly starting to warm up again. This means that the carp are waking up again as well. They weren't really feeding yet. But with 2 catches, it was still a nice day.
13-03-2026: It remains a matter of luck for us when we catch a pike-perch. Every year we manage to catch a few, but this is often more luck than skill. The joy was therefore great today when my eldest son managed to hook a nice zander.
16-03-2026: It remains a debate between proponents and opponents whether fishing in trout ponds is actually fishing. Nevertheless, I try to visit a trout pond once or twice a year. This time, I went to Forelwereld with my wife. This is one of the two indoor fishing ponds we have in the Netherlands.
