Unlike January 2025, I've already booked several vacations for next year. I actually have one more week left to plan, and maybe a few days off.
What will we do in 2026:
-A week sea troutfishing in Denmark
-A week barbel fishing in north france
-A week trout fishing in Norway
-A week carp fishing in the Netherlands.
19-01-2026: After 5 followers and 2 losers, I finally managed to catch the first pike of 2026 today.
24-01-2026: 2026 doesn't start off very well. Is it because of the cold temperatures? Am I making the wrong decisions? Or do I just have to accept that things can't always go my way? Fortunately, I managed to catch 2 pike today. And after seeing several kingfishers, January 2026 has become a beautiful month again.
31-01-2026: What a day it was today. For weeks the bites haven't come, but today the pike finally started biting. Unfortunately, we only managed to catch one pike, but with all the lost ones and follows, it was a day full of action.
